Dr. Ali Safaei is a full dentist registrant with BCCOHP.
The Inquiry Committee has directed a citation for a disciplinary hearing to inquire into Dr. Safaei’s conduct as a dentist.
The hearing concerns investigations into a complaint received by BCCOHP in December 2024 regarding Dr. Safaei’s conduct and competence in relation to treatment provided to a patient. The allegations include but are not limited to inadequate documentation, failure to obtain proper medical clearance and informed consent, and inadequate treatment planning given the patient’s medical history.
Dr Safaei is alleged to have breached multiple standards in place at the time, which constitutes unprofessional conduct or professional misconduct, and incompetent practice under the Health Professions Act and the BCCOHP Bylaws.

A hearing has been scheduled for March 23, 24 and 25, 2026, at 9:30 am each day and will be held virtually.
