Notice of proposed fee increase for 2027/28

BCCOHP is seeking feedback on a proposed 5% increase to all administrative and license fees for all classes of oral health professionals. The increase would be effective April 1, 2027.  

About the proposed increase  

With the 2027-28 budget in development, BCCOHP is reviewing our financial position to ensure that we can deliver on our legislated mandate in the upcoming fiscal year. As a government reporting entity, BCCOHP is expected to maintain a balanced budget and operate on a cost-recovery basis.  

The costs of maintaining operations in BC continue to rise due to inflation, evolving privacy and security concerns and necessary technology upgrades. Some of the major cost drivers for the upcoming fiscal year include: 

• essential investments in technology and data security 
• increasing costs of our supplier contracts 
• rising general operational costs due to inflation
