As we approach the halfway point of the first year of the modernized Quality Assurance Program (QAP), we know the QAP continues to be an area of interest for oral health professionals. We understand why — the QAP matters to you as an individual in practice, and it matters to patients who rely on us to ensure the public is well-served by competent oral healthcare professionals. We have published an update addressing common themes we are seeing in the questions that have been coming in about the program.
Notice of proposed fee increase for oral health professionals in 2027/28
BCCOHP is seeking feedback on a proposed 5% increase to administrative and license fees for all classes of oral health professionals. Feedback window is September 28 – October 13 at 11:59 p.m. The increase would be effective April 1, 2027.
