All of BC’s health regulators are required to draft a new set of bylaws to comply with the requirements of the HPOA when it is fully brought into force.
The bylaws developed to align with the upcoming HPOA have now been consolidated and are published here for information. These bylaws will be presented to the Board for approval on April 1, 2026

*The bylaws for Licensed Dental Assistants under the HPOA stand separately as Licensed Dental Assistants will continue to be regulated by BCCOHP as Licensed Dental Assistants under the Transition provisions of the Act and Regulation.
