BCCOHP is building a panel of respondents that will be invited to participate in research engagements such as focus groups and online discussion boards. These will be administered by a third-party research firm, Pivotal Research.
As we plan initiatives over the coming months that focus on harmonizing regulatory processes and pursuing strategic priorities, we will be seeking feedback from key audiences, including oral health professionals.
Research activities may be conducted via surveys, discussion boards, focus groups, interviews and more. Topics covered may include quality assurance, practice standards and guidance, health equity and cultural safety, and more. Participation incentives will differ based on engagement type and expected time commitment.

In 2023, we engaged with the panel for an early consultation on our draft standards framework. This research has provided us with qualitative insights that we will use to inform our decision making around the development of standards and guidance. We are planning several consultation opportunities for 2024, which will involve members of this advisory panel.
