Nature of Complaint: Professional misconduct
Conduct and Discipline: Acknowledged a failure to comply with the Denturists Regulation for providing a fixed denture, which was not removeable by the patient, and a failure to comply with section 8.03 of CDBC’s bylaws for advertising fixed denture services that denturists are not authorized to provide. This resulted in the following Consent Resolution:
- Reprimand for violation of the Denturists Regulation and section 8.03 of CDBC’s bylaws,
with respect to providing and advertising services that denturists are not authorized to
perform; - Fine in the amount of $5,000; and
- Undertaking not to repeat the identified conducts.
