BCCOHP has a variety of options that allow you to earn continuing education (CE) credits anywhere and at your own pace.
The legacy College of Dental Surgeons of BC developed educational courses on a number of topics applicable to Oral Health Professionals (OHPs). These resources are available to all OHPs and cover topics such as complaints, recordkeeping, tough topics, oral cancer and sedation.
These courses are available for a fee to oral health professionals to submit for CE credits.
The free versions of our courses are available to anyone but are not eligible for CE credit by oral health professionals.
The legacy College of Dental Hygienists of BC developed an educational resource called L’heq’lomet: A toolkit of Indigenous Anti-Racism, Cultural Safety and Humility Learning. The toolkit was developed in consultation with subject matter experts, including those with Indigenous lived experience. Oral health professionals are encouraged to engage in meaningful and relevant IARCS&H learning as part of regular professional development.
Indigenous Anti-Racism, Cultural Safety and Humility Learning is eligible for continuing education (CE)/continuing competency (CC) credits for all oral health professionals (OHPs). Credits can be claimed on an hour-per-hour basis for learning opportunities completed in this area of study.
