To fabricate dental appliances as a dental technician a person must be licensed with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP). Only licensees of BCCOHP are legally entitled to practice dental technology in BC.
Only licensed dental technicians of BCCOHP are licensed to practice dental technology in BC and use the title “Licensed Dental Technician” and “Dental Technician” and the abbreviations “LDT.”
