An update on annual fees for 2025-2026

The BCCOHP board recently approved a 2% increase in fees for the 2025-26 year.

When BCCOHP was formed in September 2022, the existing legacy fee schedules were retained. Now, after several years of maintaining those fees, we are implementing the first fee adjustment since amalgamation. In collaboration with BCCOHP leadership, the Board has carefully evaluated the appropriate fee structure to enable BCCOHP to fulfill its mandate amid current economic pressures and evolving health regulation in British Columbia.  The 2% fee increase is driven by:

  • Higher costs associated with operational and regulatory activities due to inflation.
  • Ongoing work to deliver on BCCOHP’s strategic initiatives, including support for oral health professionals, public safety, and quality care programs.
  • Modernization and transformation of BCCOHP’s regulatory infrastructure.
  • Preparation for the provincial government’s transition to the anticipated Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA).

The comprehensive fee schedule for each oral health professional type and health profession corporation fees can be found in Schedule A (PDF) of the BCCOHP Bylaws.

We are continuing to review the fee schedule with the goal of establishing a unified, sustainable fee structure across the oral health professions.
