Nature of Complaint: Professional misconduct
Conduct and Discipline: Acknowledged a failure to comply with the Denturists Regulation for not obtaining required prescriptions and a failure to comply with CDBC’s Practice Standards, related to sterilization and infection control protocols. This resulted in the following Consent Resolution:
- Reprimand for violation of the Denturists Regulation and CDBC’s Practice Standards,
with respect to sterilization and infection control protocols; - A two-month suspension;
- Fine in the amount of $20,000;
- Undertaking to complete coursework on periodontal disease and sterilization and
infection control protocols; and - Undertaking not to repeat the identified conducts.
