2023/24 Annual Renewal Fees

Oral health professionals will be able to renew your registration/certification with BCCOHP online beginning in early February 2023. You will be notified by email when the online renewal system opens.

The deadline to renew your registration or certification is Friday, March 31, 2023. Below are the annual renewal fees for all registrants and certified dental assistants.

The detailed fee schedule for each oral health professional type can be found in Schedule A of the BCCOHP Bylaws (PDF).

Most oral health professionals are renewing for 13 months instead of one year

This is due to the renewal deadline having changed from February 28 to March 31. This year, annual renewal for certified dental assistants, dental therapists, dental hygienists and dentists will cover a period of 13 months rather than 12. The fee for the 13th month will be reflected in the online renewal form. Your registration/certification will not expire on February 28 as it would have in past years.

Note: Your renewal deadline has changed from February 28, 2023 to March 31, 2023, to reflect BCCOHP’s fiscal year beginning on April 1. This means that:

  • your certification will not expire on February 28, 2023.
  • you will see one additional month (March 1, 2023 – March 31, 2023) added to the fees due upon renewal.
