2026/27 annual renewal fees

The BCCOHP board has approved the fees for the 2026/27 year. Notable changes include:

  • A 5% fee increase reflecting inflation, rising operating costs, and the resources required to support core regulatory functions and will enable BCCOHP to continue to fulfill its mandate.
  • Fewer classes for fees, due to the move from a registration model to a licensure model (driven by the upcoming Health Professions and Occupations Act). Under the BCCOHP bylaws being developed to align with the HPOA, certain registration categories have been discontinued or unified, which has resulted in a fee reduction in some areas. More detail has been sent directly to impacted individuals and posted here >>
  • Blended corporation fees across oral health professions, with some categories being unified and some fees reduced.

We are continuing to review the fee schedule with the goal of establishing a unified, sustainable fee structure across the oral health professions.

See below for a breakdown of the 2026/27 fees by type of oral health professional.

Terminology changes: Note that under the incoming Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA), all health regulators in BC are moving to a licensure model instead of a registration model. Therefore, in preparation for the transition to the new HPOA-compliant bylaws on April 1, our terminology has shifted to “licence” instead of “registration”
