Discipline hearing: Mr. Paul Biddle

Mr. Biddle is a Registrant with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals, as defined in section 26 of the Health Professions Act (HPA), as a denturist.   

The Inquiry Committee has directed a citation for a disciplinary hearing to inquire into Mr. Biddle’s conduct as a denturist.  

BCCOHP is conducting this hearing to determine whether Mr. Biddle:  

a) has not complied with the HPA, a regulation or a bylaw;
b) has not complied with a standard, limit or condition imposed under the HPA;
c) has committed professional misconduct or unprofessional conduct; 
d) has incompetently practised as a denturist; and/or 
e) suffers from a physical or mental ailment, an emotional disturbance or an addiction that impairs his ability to practice as a denturist. 

This hearing relates to investigations related to two complaints received by BCCOHP in 2022 and 2023. The first investigation and second investigation are unrelated complaints from two different complainants. BCCOHP is alleging that the Registrant has failed to respond to and cooperate with the College regarding the two investigations, among other matters.
